Ok-This is the story of the drive through baptism.
Andres and I decided to have Eva baptized in Minnesota because our family was having an early Thanksgiving before my grandma went down to Arizona for the winter.
My cousin Jami and his wife Nicki are Eva's godparents and they had good intentions of going to the Redeeming Grace Lutheran Church & School in Rogers, MN. So we decided this would be a good church to have Eva baptized in.
Meanwhile.... I emailed the pastor and told him our situation and that Jami and Nicki were intending on joining their church..... blah....blah....blah.... So we were all set for the baptism.
Well, people get busy and Jami and Nicki never got a chance to start going to the church UNTIL..... the day of Eva's baptism!!!!!
We walked in, met the pastor and (half the church... I think maybe they had 25 members) Eva was awake and "talking" for of the service, and just like that Eva was baptized!
In the church bulletin it stated that Jami and Nicki were associates of the church....hehheheh that's nicer than saying total strangers.
Aunt Jean summed the experience up the best by stating "It was a drive through baptism, just throw some holy water on the car..... and we'll take some monster cookies to go please."
All in All it was a beautiful baptism! The people at Redeeming Grace were very gracious and accommodating!

Eva loved her gifts! Her favorite gift was the little glockenspiel. She started to play it while still in it's box. Grandma Jones surprised us all when she bought Eva a bike carrier and got us a Wii fit! Maybe I will be able to loose those Christmas pounds after all-and maybe not:)
We sure did have a White Christmas. Andres took Eva out the next day to go sledding in the backyard. She loved it and started crying when we took her inside:)
Eva 9 months and Joshua 5 weeks old. Miss you lots Rachel:( We both have beautiful babies! Jason, maybe I do believe in arranged marriages after all:)

I was sitting behind Eva and thought I would take a picture of her. I held the camera in front of her and told her to say cheese... She did, and boy does she look cute:)
Eva was a cute little ladybug today:) She went trick-or-treating at Bill $ Judy's and had her first halloween candy (Teddy Grams)

Eva is teething again-It looks like she it getting the top two and possibly some bottom teeth:) Luckily Jami had some cool packs, though Eva thought it was fun to hold the cold packs rather than chew on them.
Daddy got crazy with the bubbles:) We had to give Eva a second bath of just water to get all the soap off!
Eva is sitting up by herself now! Sometimes she gets tired and will almost touch her belly to the carpet:)
Eva looks so cute in the outfit Auntie Kristin gave her. She enjoyed pulling her hat down over her eyes! Eva has started lifting her feet in the air when she is on her back. -she will soon have abs of steel:)
Eva has started drinking from her sippy cup! She will take a little drink and then stop to give me a funny look because she is drinking water and not milk:)
Grandma bought this Kitty Hat for Eva to wear! Fall is almost here in South Dakota, and Eva needed a hat that would cover her ears:)
