Zoo

We all bundled up and made it out to the zoo today. I think it was only in the low 50's, but we had fun and it warmed up later in the day.

Red Wagon

We found Eva a red wagon, she loves riding in it. She will sit on one side then switch to the other and sometimes sit on the floor. I have to repeatedly say the wagon doesn't move until you sit down Eva!

Brookings Children's Museum

The Brookings Children's Museum is awesome! Eva loved the farm and grocery store best. The cost is $6 for adults and children over age 1. I will post more pictures on our next visit.

Rare Rhinos of Africa

Today we visited the zoo to see the grand opening of the new Black Rhino exhibit. The funny part was the zoo was soooo very busy that morning, we didn't get a chance to see the Rhinos:)

My cousin works at the zoo and was holding a snake that Nanna and Eva touched, Eva also got a free Rhino cupcake and a Rhino hat! All in All- it was a fun morning. If you have kids, the zoo membership is definitely worth it!

Oatmeal

Eva loves eating oatmeal in the mornings. Today I let her "try" to feed herself. Yes...it was messy....but ..Yes... she had tons of fun:)

(on a side note, after this picture we found out she was allergic probably to the cinnamon. She had red marks on her tummy where the oatmeal had spilled.) She's ok- but we have to watch how much cinnamon she eats in the future.

Still having fun

Eva gets a kick out of swinging...she squeals when you push her high. Loves when people swing with her.

Minnesota Weekend

New Cousin Jack

It is really amazing how fast babies grow and change. Looking at Jack and then Eva It seems like just yesterday she was that small, enjoy every moment even the crabby ones:)

Rocking Chair

Today we had my cousin Scot and his family over to grill out. Eva and Kianna are exactly 1 year apart! Eva also enjoyed sitting in her rocking chair. (Found at a garage sale-what a deal!)

Swing set

Daddy built a new swing set for Eva today. The sun was in her eyes so we couldn't get a smile on camera but she was so excited and loves swinging:) When we first walked outside she pointed and started talking.

She wore her new dress that her family living in Costa Rica bought her, it's a little big but she will grow into it:)

How Cute

Eva still fits into her 9-12month blue ducky dress that my friend Sheila gave her. I thought she looked so cute today.

Sprinkler

She didn't like the sprinkler at first, but got used to it once daddy played around with the hose settings:)

Grandma's Birthday Party

My Grandmother Ramona celebrated her 80th Birthday on April 17th,18th and the 30th which is her actual birthday. Everyone had a blast!

Omaha Zoo

Today we visited the Omaha Zoo. It started to mist but many exhibits are indoors so everything worked out. Eva loved any animal that was moving, especially the fish and monkeys. It was a long day,but we will definitely plan another trip here.

Grandma's Pizza Party

We took this picture before we went up to the Pizza Ranch. Eva looks very cute in her black and white outfit. She matches Great Grandma:)

Butterfly House

We all enjoyed the Butterfly House in Sioux Falls. Very hot and humid inside so keep the jackets at home:)
